Among fabrics, photos, emails, and decisions, we sometimes forget to mention what’s behind it all. This blog has been a bit stagnant, not for lack of things to tell, but because Flor de C is still a small company: we are two people, Marta and I, doing everything you see.

This year, the 2026 communion dress collection was born from a real need: to return to the essence. To stop. To look back. To remember why we started. And to understand that, sometimes, without realizing it, we move a little away from that initial idea: dressing real girls.
Girls who are still girls
In recent years, some communion collections have taken a course that we do not feel is our own: girls with very adult styles, makeup, editorial poses. We have even used somewhat older models, and when reviewing our images, we feel that we were losing an essential part: the real sweetness of a nine-year-old girl.
We are not talking about sizes, but about essence. That energy that girls who still play have, who are still amazed. And this collection wants to honor that stage, without disguises or pretenses.

A simple, harmonious, and honest collection
In 2026 we return to the origin. Dresses made with natural fabrics that we adore: embroidered tulles, natural linens, rustic cottons and one that has us in love: the rustic gazar, for its body, its drape, and its timeless beauty.

We design simple communion dresses, designed for girls who are still in that magical stage. With clean silhouettes, careful seams, and handmade details. Without artifice. Without excess. Only dresses with soul.

Because this is also about time
We didn’t want to make a collection because “it’s time”, but because we felt it was necessary to stop and do it right. We want you to think, when you see one of our dresses: that is a girl making her communion. Not a bride. Not a miniature influencer. A girl.
And that, for us, is everything.
